Ottoline de Vries

Ottoline is an award-winning London design house celebrated for its imaginative wallpapers and fabrics, where bold colour, expressive pattern, and playful composition meet inspiration from nature, history, and art. With her inventive approach to pattern and colour, founder Ottoline de Vries brings a distinctive voice to contemporary interiors.

Ottoline’s journey began in Amsterdam, where she worked as a lawyer while spending her free time restoring and personalising antiques. Unable to find patterns that matched her vision, she began designing her own pieces. Recognition came swiftly. Being shortlisted for the Rijksstudio Award at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and featured in Residence magazine ignited her passion to leap fully into design.

Relocating to London, a hub of design and innovation, Ottoline introduced her debut wallpaper collection, which was awarded “Best Wallpaper Collection” by Homes & Gardens in 2015. This recognition inspired her to launch her namesake design studio, marking the beginning of a fresh and inspiring voice in interiors.

Having lived in London for over a decade, Ottoline now feels deeply connected to the city and its creative pulse, which continue to inspire her evolving collections and artistic vision.

Her design are now available to shop worlds wide. Visit one of our showrooms for a closer look or order a sample today.
